April 20, 2018 | 6:00pm - 9:00pm | Price Center BALLROOM EAST

Since there is an under-representation of Asian and Pacific Islander (API) artists in mainstream media, APSA's Benefit Show provides students and community members a platform to showcase their own talent and to give themselves a voice through entertainment. This is especially significant for Asian Americas who wish to break negative stereotypes portrayed in the media, learn from successful role models, and to realize their potential to achieve their dreams despite the underlying political and social limitations within society.

This benefit show allows API artists and performers the opportunity to foster personal growth and development and to convey the depth and scope of API talent to the public. In addition, the show is a charitable event that will support various non-profit organizations through raffles, food and concessions, and donations from the community.
